Suzanne is a Master's Level Licensed Social Worker Independent Clinical. Her private pay rate is $135 for a 50-minute appointment. In addition, she is an in-network provider with Cigna, Premera, Lifewise, and Kaiser (PPO only) insurance plans.
About Me
I believe that the root of therapy is about finding connection to self, others, and the world. As a therapist, I work to cultivate a space that will support you in feeling connected, witnessed, and heard. My approach to working with clients is relational, humanistic, creative, and nurturing yet direct.
In our work together, we will explore what it means to be human and the suffering that comes with it, examine the narratives and beliefs you hold about yourself, delve into what brings meaning to your life, and reflect and process past wounds in an effort to move towards healing.
My therapeutic style focuses on processing to help you bring about awareness and insight to what might be going on, skill building to work through stuck points, and action planning to determine tangible steps to support you towards desired change. I cater my therapeutic approach based on each client and their needs, and I draw from multiple modalities, including mindfulness and self-compassion practices, cognitive behavioral interventions, dialectical behavioral skills, and acceptance and commitment techniques. I am also a Certified Yoga Teacher and integrate the mind body connection into my work. As a social worker and therapist, I am committed to working with clients from a trauma-informed, social justice, and equity lens.
