Creating compassion and understanding for yourself is different than making excuses for your behavior. When we are able to understand how our backgrounds and experiences influence the way we relate to the world around us, we are able to become more intentional in our relationship with ourselves and with others. Together we can begin to explore how we can best support you in living a life guided by your values. Using an eclectic approach to therapy, we will explore how systems influence the way you relate to yourself and others, and identify patterns and techniques to support you in moving towards your goals.
I believe therapy is most successful when the relationship between a client and therapist is prioritized in the treatment process. I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I welcome individuals navigating trauma and challenging life transitions, as well as those wanting to explore mindfulness through a trauma-informed lens. Additionally, I enjoy working with artists and creatives to explore how our work is impacted by our experiences and to help individuals deepen their connection to their craft.
